Andres Baltazar grew up in North-West Indiana with his family. Upon acceptance to DePaul University, he moved to Chicago, IL in 2004.

Andres Baltazar was recruited by a financial advisor into one of the “Top 10 internships in the country,” according to 2011 Vault Guide to Internships. He began his career at Northwestern Mutual Financial as a Financial Representative Intern in May 2006, while attending college full-time.

In 2006, he finished his 1^st year as the #1 producing intern in his Network Office-- The Hoopis Agency.

The following year he finished as the #1 Financial Representative Intern in the Nation.

He graduated the internship program in May of 2008 as one of the top 5 interns within the company nationwide and became a full time Financial Representative – however, his passion for the college internship program only continued to grow.

In May 2010, Andres put his leadership ability to use when he was appointed as a College Unit Director for the Hoopis Financial Group in Skokie, IL. In this capacity, Andres is responsible for the selection, growth, and development of college intern financial representatives.

Andres Baltazar is the #4 College Unit Director in the Country. In August, 2011 at Northwestern Mutual’s annual meeting, he was presented the award for running the same prestigious internship that he was once a part of. He ran one of the most successful internship programs in the company while continuing to advance in his own personal practice.
